Job Description

Perform duties as outlined by the Terminal Manager related to the receipt and shipment of petroleum products via barges and pipeline. Conducts maintenance and accounting responsibilities in accordance with established company and governmental regulations. Assists in the operations, maintenance, safety and environmental matters.

· Responsible for filter changes and valve alignments (manifolds and tanks) At the Terminal and Base property to assure the proper handling, storage and integrity of products.

· Samples and analyzes product as instructed by the Terminal Manager.

· Conducts safety watches with outside contractors as advised by the Terminal Manger.

· Ensures all environmental and safety equipment is working properly.

· Assist first responders with spill containment, boat launching and boom deployment.

· Keep overall appearance of terminal up and grass mowed and edged.

· Keep overall maintenance of the Right of Way inspections and marking.

· Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Reduces potential risk to public safety and environment and minimizes company liability.

Education & Experience

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail, with the ability to independently proof work for accuracy.

· Initiative and organization abilities required for meeting deadlines.

· Expected to maintain good working relationships with Company personal, customers and contractors.

· Ability to independently conduct job accountabilities with limited supervision.

· Is a self-starter and willing to adapt to changing conditions.

· Climb up 35-foot tall tanks multiple times a day, walk up to 3 miles at a time, and left 75 Pounds.

· Hook up barge hoses for off-loading, and maintain logs and pressure.

· This position will require an individual to hold a valid TWIC card.

· Follow all company procedures for operations, And dress codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
