Job Description

Really looking for someone with Rotating and Equipment experience, NOT looking for Instrumentation experience.

The Rotating Equipment Planner will be accountable for developing maintenance work plans for rotating equipment per the Routine Maintenance Work Process, generating accurate job packages and cost estimates, and creating task lists for repeatable jobs utilizing SAP.

Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing, estimating, and planning all daily work activities to support machinists utilizing in field job walks. Process all notifications in SAP to work orders ensuring information is correct Planning and estimating labor, materials, and contractor resources for routine maintenance, outages and equipment overhauls Maintaining plan task list library in SAP and developing planning package library for repeatable maintenance tasks Follow necessary protocol for BOM changes in SAP Updating changes to auto Preventive Maintenance work orders in the PM module Generating accurate and complete planning packages to maximize machinist productivity Resolving priority, scope job step, and resource requirements in collaboration with operations Critiquing and adjusting plan task lists for completed jobs based on information from craft and supervisors Supporting the organization during high intensity work periods Providing weekly communication to area scheduler of status of jobs in weekly planning queue Providing input and support for turnaround planning, if needed Work closely with the scheduler to ensure all jobs are ready to schedule and define Area / Refinery resource levels Facilitate backlog and planning list reviews for duplicates, aging work orders with BU’s & Discipline Supervisors Assists with coordination of specialist contractors Complying with all policies and procedures and all federal, state and local regulations

Qualifications Required:

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country High School Diploma or GED equivalent 5 years or more of direct experience planning the repair and maintenance of refinery rotating equipment Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Information can be found at https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic Detailed knowledge of Maintenance Planning Best Practice Able to work at elevation and walk hard surfaces Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all employees and contractors Computer proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Preferred:

10 or more years of experience in craft and/or operations 10 or more years of experience in maintenance planning as related to safety, craft knowledge, materials, CPM logic, and logistics Ability to plan for multi-craft and contractors Working knowledge of engineering, safety, and industrial standards and procedures Able to read and perform material take-offs from isometrics and equipment drawings Understands and uses functional expertise to contribute to the success of the business

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $57.00 - $62.00 per hour
